Artist Statement: My current work looks to blur the distinctions between hard-edge and second-generation abstract expressionism, combing the purity and clarity of the former with the sensuous invitations of the latter. The work combines saturation with separation, inviting the viewer to explore the visual spaces between.

Artist Bio: Andrew Faris (USA, b.1978) lives and works as an artist and designer in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. He received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts degrees from the School of Visual Communication Design at Kent State University.
